ICC has announced new Groups for the coming T20 World Cup 2021. The Two traditional Rivalry Pakistan and India, are kept in the same Group by the ICC. It’s good news for the fans of both countries. This is a high-profile match. Spectators from both sides show their intensity and passion.
Apart from ICC events, these two teams hardly face each other. So, both the teams will continue their on-field in the ICC T20 World Cup. The last time India and Pakistan were in action was the ICC World Cup 2019.
The track record of the Pakistan team is not that good against India in the ICC events. Except for the ICC Champions trophy final 2017, Pakistan has never beaten India on any occasion of this big stage. This time we expect an outstanding performance from Pakistan to bash India for the first time in the ICC T20 World Cup.
Pakistan has a terrible track record against India in the ICC World Cups. Same India is facing a big-time against New Zealand. India has never beaten New Zealand in an ICC event. So, the coming t20 world cup may be a history changer.
The other two teams of Group 1 are Afghanistan and New Zealand. It’s a thought Group as all the teams are quite capable of beating each other on any surface.
Both of the groups of the main stage will contain six teams. Four of them will be pre-qualified teams, and the other two will be decided from Group A and B of the qualifying round.
So, the following teams will be in group 1;
