BCCI(The Board of Control for Cricket in India) has unveiled the brand new kit for the Indian Team with a unique slogan “Billion Cheers Jersey”. Billion Cheers Jersey is the jersey/kit that will India team wear in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2021. The Slogan is representing the happiness of Billions of people of India because cricket is in their blood.
The official sponsors of India Cricket team MPL stick with the dark blue color which is the traditional color of the India cricket kit for years. The “Billion Cheers Jersey” replaces the dark navy-colored Indian Kit/jersey that was in the 2019 ODI World. The traditional one was also attractive but this new one looks even better.
Men in Blue is the phrase used for the Indian team. The Indian flag has three primary colors, white at the center, green at the bottom, and orange at the top. A logo on the white strip is placed right at the center of the flag. Blue is the predominant color in most of the tournaments for the team. The recent T20 World Cup Kit for the Indian team replaces the 1992 ODI world cup jersey.
A few days ago we had news from the BCCI that announcement for the new Indian Kit/jersey for the t20 world cup 2021 will be made on 13th October. And finally, the announcement is made by BCCI. The new kit is in Dark blue color with attractive designs on it.
MPL Sports, the official kit sponsors of the Indian cricket team tweeted that. “This isn’t just a Team, they are the pride of India. This isn’t just a jersey, it is the blessing of a billion fans. Get ready to cheer for Team India,”.
The tweeted image by the BCCI show four leading players of the Indian team; KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah sporting the new kit.
The front side of the Indian new kit “Billion Cheers Jersey” has light blue stripes on the dark blue background which creates a unique look. On the left of the shirt, the Indian Cricket Logo is printed. On the right side of the shirt is the logo of MPL Sports. Underneath these two designs, you will be able to see the Indian Cricket Official sponsor’s “BYJU’S” logo. Just under name India is printed in orange color. The trousers resemble the shirt in color.
The Indian will be in full Dark Blue color. A fascinating jersey with the name INDIA in orange right in the center of the shirt. Indian flag is on the left corner, close to the heart of the Indian players. Above the country’s name, you will be able to find the sponsor’s name along with its logo. MPL is on the right side of the shirt opposite to Indian flag. Four stips, White, Orange, Green, and Blue, start from the nick area to shoulders, and the same pattern repeats itself on the backside.
ICC T20 World Cup India’s old jersey was a reflection of the jersey that was used in the 1992 world cup. It seems that India is very keen to repeat history but this time with a new kit and luck. And this time again, the team is one of the favorites to lift the T20 World Cup trophy for the second time.
