Another massive setback for the England team as Sam Curran, due to a back injury, has been ruled out of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. England team has recently lost one of its explosive all-rounder of all formats, Ben Stoke, and the loss of Sam Curran is another hindrance for the team to cope with.
The England team’s fast-bowling all-rounder Sam Curran has ruled out the ICC Men’s T20 World cup 2021. Currently, he is playing for Chennai Super King in the IPL second leg in the UAE. But in the last match, he felt some back pain due to which he will he immediately leave for England.
The official Twitter handle of the T20 World Cup released the news on the internet. He will not be available in the forthcoming ICC mega event, but this is not the only problem that the England team is facing. Ben Stokes
and Jofra Archer are the other two top-class players already ruled out of the T20 World cup 2021.
Will
The England team bear this setback? Due to his bowling and batting abilities, Sam Curran is a valuable pick for the team. He has 16 T20 matches for his team and got 16 wickets, with 3/28 is his best bowling in t20
career. His bowling economy is also a good one which shows that he is a good bowler. With a 7.93 economy, he takes a wicket after every 17.20 balls.
England will take on India on 18th October and New Zealand on 20th October for warm-up matches. In the Super 12s round, England is in Group 1, where they will have to face West Indies, South Africa, Australia, and the two qualifying round teams.
Will England cope with these three significant setbacks? Do you think England is still included in the run for champions? Or these setbacks will destroy England’s T20 World Cup 2021 campaign?
