Such statements from former players will intensify the situation more. Former Pakistan all-rounder Abd-Ur-Razzaq gave a strong message to the Indian team. He says, Don’t Think India Can Compete With Pakistan’.
Giving an interview to ARY News, Abd-Ur-Razzaq compares both the teams and says Pakistan has produced more influential players than India. In every field of cricket department we good players as compared to the Indian team.
While giving an interview, the anchorperson asked the Former Pakistan top all-rounder, Abdur Razzaq, Do India has the kind of pace bowlers or all-rounders like Pakistan, or do you feel there is no match?”. Abd-Ur-Razzaq replied in the following words,
“I don’t think India can compete with Pakistan, the kind of talent we have produced over the years is completely different. He further said that “the sole reason why bilateral cricket hasn’t been possible between the two neighbours is that India are aware that they are an inferior side as compared to Pakistan”.
He further explains that It is not suitable for the cricket of India and Pakistan that they are not playing against each other. Pakistan vs India match is always a pressure cooker that demands players to showcase their talent. It also provides the players of both teams to handle the pressure of the big moment. This extra zip is missing. India vs Pakistan matches make players mentally tough. So these are aspects we are missing.
He also compared the past players that India and Pakistan have produced. He compared Imran Khan and Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar and Javed Miandad, and some other legends as well. He Said, “India too has a good team; I’m not saying anything otherwise. Even they have good players. But if you look at it potential-wise, we had Imran Khan, and they had Kapil Dev. If you are to compare, then Imran Khan was a lot better.
Pakistan has yet to beat its Arch-rival in ICC World Cups. Pakistan has a bad record against India in the ICC Trophies overall, and Pakistan had just beaten India once in the Champions Trophy final back in 2017. Will Pakistan turn the table this time or will India celebrate its 8th consecutive win in the ICC World Tournaments.
