In the ICC T20 World Cup history, Pakistan met India for the first time in 2007. This was the maiden T20 World Cup. South Africa hosted the event. In the final, India again took on Pakistan for the second in the same ICC T20 World Cup 2007 tournament. It was also a nail-biting game.
