The ICC has divided the coming T20 World Cup 2021 into rounds and four Groups to produce nail-biting battles. The First Round will be played between the qualifying teams. The qualifying stage will be held from 17 October to 23 October to decide on four top teams. The organizers have conducted this round to ensure that quality teams play the main phase of WC t20 2021.
The t20 world cup 2021 groups list of the qualifying countries contains Eight teams. Group A is consists of Sri Lanka, Ireland, PNG, and Oman. Bangla Desh, Namibia, Netherlands, and Scotland are kept in group B. The top two teams of each group will qualify to join the giants In the Super 12 Round.
The main stage that is will start from 24 October is also divided into two groups. Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan and, India are in Group 2. The Group 1 of the T20 World Cup 2021 has England, South Africa, West Indies, and Australia.
Sri Lanka and Bangla Desh have to play the qualifying round of the coming ICC T20 world cup 2021. Surprisingly, such powerful teams have to play against low-profile teams to register their names for the mainstream matches.
Papua New Guinea will experience such a massive stage for the first time. Handling the T20 world Cup pressure will not be an easy task for the new burn cricket team.
Group 2, which contains Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan, and, India seems to be the two most challenging groups. They will have to face Sri Lanka or Bangla Desh from the qualifying stage, making the group more attractive. So, qualifying from here will not be an easy task at all.

More importantly, India will face Pakistan for the first time after two years of delay. Both of the teams met in the ICC Men’s; World Cup 2019, in England. India as usual beat Pakistan in that match. Pakistan is still searching for its first victory against its old rival India. It is always a treat to watch these two teams operating against each other.
The current Form of New Zealand and Pakistan’s reputation in the history of T20 world cups make both of them strong contenders to lift the trophy. Another plus point for New Zealand is that India the most dangerous
team of the ICC T20 World Cup hasn’t won a single game against New Zealand. The preparation of the Australian team and enclosure of Defending Champion West Indies make Group 1 very tough as well.
ICC t20 WC 2021 groups format might be changed in the next 20/20 world cup. The governing body has suggested increasing the quota of sixteen teams to twenty teams.
