ICC has divided the participants of the T20 World Cup 2021 into four groups of teams. The main round of the world cup consists of twelve teams. The main round will be played on Round Robin Format, where the two top teams qualify for the Semi-Finals. The following is the team’s list of the main round of the mega event. ICC has placed those teams in the main round, which will not appear in the Qualifying round. These teams are a total of Eight in number. Those eight teams are divided into two groups. Group 1 is the most dangerous group of the two groups. The most devastating is in this group. So, the competition will very tough for the final four.
Oman will host the first stage of the world. According to the new schedule, it will start on 17th October and will finish on 23rd October. There is a total of eight teams in this round as well.
The important thing about the qualifying round is that ICC’s two full test members Sri Lanka and Bangle Desh, will have to pass this hurdle before going to the next Super 12 round. The enclosure of these two teams makes the contest very interesting.
Oman, the host of this round, has got the firepower to beat any team. The home ground will support their cause for the second stage of the coming T20 World Cup 2021.
Apart from Ireland, Scotland, Namibia, PNG, and Netherland are also the teams that surprise their day. So, Oman is the new Venue for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, and the other teams will give Sri Lanka and Bangla Desh a tough time.
The teams of the stage are divided into two groups Group A and Group B. The top two teams will reach the Super 12, where they will meet cricket giants.
