Chasing a huge total of 190 runs was a big asking from a relatively new team Scotland. They started in a flourish and 20 odd runs in the first 3 overs. But then Mujeeb came, he was unplayable for Scotland batters. They had no clue whatsoever. He struck thrice in one over. And put the Scottish batting lineup on the back foot. He took 5 wickets for 20 runs in his four overs. The first bowler of the super 12 of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 who took 5 wickets haul. A huge landmark for Mujeeb and team Afghanistan.
The star spinner Rashid Khan struck 4 times in his 2.2 overs giving away only 9 runs. Naveen the pacer got 1 wicket for runs.
